Bernard J. Scally, “Bern”, “BJ”, suddenly on September 23, 2015. Beloved son of the late Bernard A. IV and Lorraine (nee Jennings) Scally. Loving brother of Alissa Scarbrough, dear fiancé of Monica Howell. Survived by many loving Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins. Bern earned Eagle Scout with Troop 474, dubbed the Duke of Roxborough by some for his dapper attire and top hats, he was a beloved newspaper journalist for the Roxborough Review. Family and friends are invited to his viewing Monday 6-9 PM and Tuesday 9 AM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 425 Lyceum Ave., Rox. and to participate in his funeral service 11 AM at St John the Baptist Church, Int Private. Donations in BJ’s name to BSA Troop 474, 216 Pelham Road, Phila., Pa. 19119, would be appreciated by his family.
