Mary Patricia McQuirns (Foley) 84, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at home with her family. Mary was born to William J. Foley and Elizabeth L. Foley (O’Donnell) on April 18, 1941, in Manayunk, PA. She graduated from St. John’s High School in Philadelphia, and spent many years working as an Office Manager for Hobbs and Towne in Phoenixville, PA. She was married to the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Harold McQuirns for 33 years. Together they spent many years creating memories, sharing love and building a life together. She was a devout Catholic and belonged to several local church communities over the years.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Harold McQuirns, her son John M. Loftus Jr, her brother William J. Foley (Mary), her Sister Elizabeth D. Foley (Joseph) and her loving parents William J. Foley Sr. and Elizabeth L. O’Donnell. She is survived by her children Kevin J. Loftus, Brian W. Loftus, Amy E. Fagan (John), Beth A. Hanna (Forest), daughter-in-law Wendy A. Goodreau (John) and grandchildren: John Loftus III, Matthew Farrell (Dan), Daniel Loftus, Alexandra Loftus, Ryan Loftus, Megan Loftus, Brian Loftus Jr, Anthony Loftus, Kaci Loftus, Noelle McDonough (CJ), Brenden Fagan, Breanna Iverson (Cory) Forest Hanna IV and 14 great grandchildren.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed making memories with her family, playing bingo with her friends and going to lunch with her Yayas. A proud Philly gal through and through, she enjoyed watching her Eagles play - whether they win or lose.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at St. John’s in Manayunk on May 30, 2025. Visitation and services beginning at 9:15am. Gravesite services to follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in King of Prussia.
