Jackson

On November 30, 2025, David J. Jackson at the age of 37, has gotten his wings and has been taken home to Heaven.

A loving father to Alanna Jackson, his true love. Beloved son of Arlene Hinkle and the late Jack Hinkle, and Dave Jackson Sr. A loving brother to Nicholl, Nanci, Dusti Jackson (Tiana), and step brother John Hinkle. A loving uncle to Steven, Brayden, Sophia, Lucianna, and Sonny. A loving Godfather to Brayden Jackson and Kiley Altomare. A loving grandson to Thomas Miller.

He worked for Local 30's Roofers Union. He was a graduate from Roxborough High School. David grew up in a very close and large family with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him unconditionally and will miss him with all of their hearts and souls.

David enjoyed family gatherings, poker nights with family, and sports. He loved his family with his whole heart. David, AKA "Action Jackson", had a passion for boxing. From the Manayunk Boxing Club to the Lonnie D Young Recreation Center, he poured everything he has into the sport. David won the Golden Gloves of Philadelphia. He was an all-around sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers, but his all-time idol was Michael Jordan.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank A. Altomare and Arlene B. Miller, cousin Adam Hammer, and uncle Frank J. Altomare. 

Family is invited to his viewing at 9 AM, friends at 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 13th and to participate in his service at 11 AM at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 425 Lyceum Ave, Phila., Pa 19128.
