Verna B. (nee Tietjen) on July 11, 2009, wife of the late Robert A. Dougherty. Dear friend of Ray Pownall, loving mother of Denise (Martin) O'Connor, Vincent, Robert and Michael Dougherty. Grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 1, daughter of Verna and the late Edwin Tietjen, sister of Mary Kay Tierney, Dolores Valenta, David, Lawrence and Michael Tietjen. Family and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday 8 AM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 425 Lyceum Ave, Rox. and to participate in her funeral mass 10 AM at Holy Family Church, Int. Private.
