Aleyda Cardona passed away peacefully, May 30, 2020, with her beloved son, Bobby Rengifo, by her side. She was a loving sister to Carlos Cardona, Lucelyda Casatejada, Maryla Cardona, and Francine and her husband Hector Llano. Also survived by her canine companions Leo and Che.
Aleyda lived a life of pure happiness, dedication, and compassion. She had a passion for helping people, working a career of public service as a social worker. She was also an adamant supporter of environmental and animal preservation.
A small family memorial service will be held Friday 10 AM, followed by a funeral mass 11 AM at St John the Baptist Church, 119 Rector St. Inurnment will be West Laurel Hill Cemetery
