John Joseph Kerrigan Obituary

Kerrigan

John J. Kerrigan Sr., on March 4, 2022. A man with a life well lived who enjoyed every minute of every experience, always present in the moment’ to the task at hand and the people and family he cared about. His work ethic and persistent consistency enabled him to create a life of comfort and safety and hilarity for his beloved family.

His shared knowledge of so many topics came from his vast variety of work experiences. First and foremost, he served as a Philadelphia Police Officer, a job he cherished and took pride in. This was supplemented with every part time job he could find to ensure a good life for his family, never a forty hour a week man!

He was a large presence in any room he entered. He was a classic, a CHARACTER and a man of great character, profoundly loyal and loving, honest and tough.

He will be deeply missed by many and deeply remembered by his admiring family, his wife Jacqueline (nee Feeney) Kerrigan, his children Jay (Lori), Beth (Dan) DeLone, Jennifer, and Sheila (Gary), and his grandchildren John, Connor, Olivia, Aidan, and Sophia.

Family, friends, and members of FOP Lodge #5 are invited to his viewing Friday 6-8 PM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 425 Lyceum Ave. Phila. and Saturday 9:30 AM at St Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, Pa. followed by his funeral mass 11 AM Int. Calvary Cemetery. Donations in John's name to St Philip School, 3015 Chestnut St., Lafayette Hill, Pa. 19444, would be appreciated by his family.
