Joan Marie (nee Baird), age 91, of Lafayette Hill, formerly of Roxborough, on August 30, 2022.

For 61 years, loving wife of the late John M. Gibbons, SR. Mother of Gerald F. (Carol), Michael J., Rosemary Summers (Edmund), Mark D., Christopher J. (Helena), Sarah A., Patrick J. (Maureen), Laura Owen (Richard), Dr. Mary McGonagle (Dave Gleason), Daniel (Sue Ann), and the late John M. Gibbons Jr. Sister of Gerald, David, John, Francis, the late James, Anthony, Rev. Joseph Baird, Mary Anne, Barbara, Leona, and Katherine. Grandmother of 18, great grandmother of 7, and aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband John, son John, grandson Edmund A. Summers III, and son-in-law Patrick J. McGonagle.

Joan was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic H.S. Class of 1948.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday Sept. 6, 9 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 815 Cathedral Rd. Phila., and to participte in her funeral mass 11 AM. Int Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the John M. Gibbons, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at Roman Catholic H.S., 301 N. Broad St., Phila., Pa. 19107.
