Obituary of Eileen M. O'Connell

O’Connell

Eileen (nee Ruch), formerly of Roxborough, on August 17, 2023. Loving mother of Eileen (Vincent) Wolfinger, Elizabeth Konieczka, Christine (Francis) Lally, Barbara (John) Miller and Celeste (Alan) Abramowitz.

Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank, beloved grandson Sean Francis Lally and great-granddaughter Isabella Patricia Konieczka.

Eileen is survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

After raising her family, Eileen returned to school and became a registered nurse. She worked at Roxborough Memorial Hospital until her retirement.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, August 26 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM. Internment immediately following the Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
