Hall

Helene M. Hall (nee Graham) of Devon, PA was welcomed into heaven on August 25, 2024 at the age of 77. Helene was the loving wife of the late Edward J. Hall. Born on January 24, 1947 to the late James and Sarah (Gorman) Graham, Helene was raised in Philadelphia in a large family with two sisters and three brothers. She attended J. W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School and graduated from St. Boniface Business School. She spent the majority of her career as an accounting bookkeeper at Library Video Company. Helene was a longtime parishioner at St. John the Baptist in Manayunk, where she and Ed lived for their married life, and later St. Isaac Jogues in Wayne. Helene enjoyed her Philadelphia Phillies, listening to oldies (especially Elvis), and hosting an annual party at her Manayunk Avenue home on the day of neighborhood’s famous bike race. Helene is survived by her dear sister Mary Ann Powers, special niece Eileen Morris, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Helene was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Andress and brothers James, Michael and William Graham. Family and friends are invited to Helene’s funeral mass on Saturday September 7, 2024 at St. John the Baptist, 119 Rector Street, Philadelphia, PA 19128. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helene’s name may be made to St. John the Baptist, 119 Rector Street, Philadelphia, PA 19128 or St. Isaac Jogues, 50 West Walker Road, Wayne, PA 19087.
